The Edge Hill Fire Company announced that crews were dispatched to a house fire in the La Mott section of Cheltenham Township on the afternoon of Thursday, January 9.

According to their post, Engine 400 and Ladder 400 “assisted with initial hand line operations, throwing ground ladders and overhaul operations.” Additional details were not provided.

According to a neighbor’s post, the fire took place on Anselm Road.

“The family was able to get out and are ok,” the post said. A follow up post by the same neighbor noted that “her family has lost everything. The insurance company has put them in an apartment temporarily but would like to find a home they can rent.”
