Following six weeks of repairs and associated detours, Cheltenham Township announced today that Easton Road reopened to traffic as of 3:00pm on Friday, August 15.
The road segment in the center of Glenside had been shut down since July 7 for structural repairs, including the concrete of the abutment walls, center pier support and bridge superstructure.
In related news, Easton Road north of the intersection with Woodland Road in Abington Township reopened to traffic last week following repairs to Montgomery County Bridge 269. The replacement began on Monday, March 3.
