Early morning house fire in Cheltenham, burn victim treated

Emergency Alerts of Southeastern Pennsylvania reported a house fire at approximately 2:45am on Friday, September 13 at 122 Johns Road in Cheltenham Township.

Officials said that an EMS crew was called to the scene for a victim with burns to their arms and hands.

Squad 3, Quint 3, Engine 2, Engine 4, Engine 9, L1, SD200, R9, AIR 300 and Quint 99 were dispatched. According to an update, the fire was caused by a dryer.

The McKinley Fire Company assisted with ventilation and overhaul until being released around 4:30am, officials said.
