Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele and Abington Township Police Chief Patrick Molloy, president of the Montgomery County Police Chiefs Association, announced Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, October 25.
The countywide event runs from 10:00am to 2:00pm and offers residents multiple locations to safely dispose of unwanted prescription and over-the-counter medications. Each of the drop-off sites will be staffed by local police officers.
Participating locations in greater Glenside include:
- Abington Township Police Department, 1166 Old York Rd., Abington
- Cheltenham Police Department, 125 Royal Avenue, Wyncote
- Hatboro Police Department, 120 E. Montgomery Ave., Hatboro
- Jenkintown Police, 700 Summit Ave., Jenkintown
- Lower Moreland Township Police Department, 640 Red Lion Road, Huntington Valley
- Springfield Township Police Department, 1510 Paper Mill Rd., Wyndmoor
- Upper Dublin Township Police Department, 520 Virginia Drive, Fort Washington
- Giant Food Store (Upper Moreland Township Police), 315 York Road, Willow Grove
