Dr. Richard T. Hostelley, Abington grad and longtime Emergency Medicine Physician at Holy Redeemer, has passed away

Dr. Richard T. “Dick” Hostelley, a Jenkintown resident, 1961 graduate of Abington High School and a Board-certified Emergency Medicine Physician at Holy Redeemer Hospital (Abington Township), died peacefully at Abington Jefferson Hospital on December 1. He was 80 years old.

Dr. Hostelley was a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and a member of Pennsylvania College of Emergency Physicians, his obituary said. He graduated from Dickinson College in 1965 and went on to graduate from Temple Medical School in 1969. 

“In 2024 he retired from medicine to pursue his love of travel, gardening and N gauge trains. He was a life long member of Huntingdon Valley Country Club and a Luv-N-Bunns supporter,” his obituary said.

Services and Interment will be private for the family.
