Kevin Roth, director of education and outreach at the Pennypack Ecological Restoration Trust in Huntingdon Valley, offered his thoughts on the decline of spotted lanternflies in the area to 6ABC.

According to Roth, the region’s cold winter and praying mantises may be possible reasons for the reduced numbers.
