DeeGrace Kitchen in Elkins Park adjusts signage, plans to open ‘very soon’

DeeGrace Kitchen in Elkins Park is temporarily without signage, but intentions to open in the near future are still on track.

Rose “Dee” Ileyemi, owner and resident of Northeast Philly, said she made an error by not filing for a permit before installing the sign.

“Consequently, I received a citation. I took corrective action and applied for the permit and received approval, and I modified the sign to comply with Montgomery County measurement regulations,” she said. “The authorities will conduct an inspection, and once everything meets requirements, I’ll receive final approval to keep the sign up. Thankfully, everything is now in order.”

The new restaurant will be located at 7782 Montgomery Avenue, the former home of Frank’s Pizza. Ileyemi said she plans to open “very soon.” She initially hoped to open by July.
