Steve Weiner, owner of Daryl’s Pastries in Glenside, announced this morning that the bakery will reopen on Tuesday, April 16.

The announcement follows a temporary closure while Weiner recovered from emergency heart valve repair surgery.

On February 28, Weiner announced via Facebook that the surgery was a success.

From his announcement:

Bakery Update,

Thank You for all your Well Wishes and Prayers. The Surgery was a success and I now just have to recuperate. The Bakery will reopen in April.
