Congregation Kol Ami to host antisemitism program feat. Jared Armstrong, American-Israeli pro basketball player

Jared Armstrong, a Jewish American-Israeli professional basketball player, will give a presentation at Congregation Kol Ami in Elkins Park titled “Combating Anti-Semitism Through Sport” on Friday, November 17 at 8:00pm.

Armstrong currently plays professional basketball in Israel for Elizur Ashkelon. He uses his expertise in sports to speak out against racism and antisemitism through public speaking and education.   

In 2023, Armstrong started JAB Camp, a Philadelphia-based basketball camp bringing together Black and Jewish youth with the aim of teaching hard work, pluralism and unity through diversity. His work combating discrimination, racism, and antisemitism has been covered by ABC, CBS, the Jerusalem Post, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, the Times of Israel, among other media outlets.
