The Willow Grove Volunteer Fire Company held a community collection to gather products for members of the United States Coast Guard and their families.

“We would like to thank everybody who donated to the Coast Guard Relief program at the firehouse this week,” the Willow Grove Volunteer Fire Company reported in a statement this weekend. “We had an overwhelming response that will help Coast Guard Personnel and their families get back on their feet from the government shutdown.”

“John F. Kennedy said it best when said ‘We must find time to stop and thank the people who make a difference in our lives'”, the statement continued. “Well today, each of you made a difference and we are extremely grateful. Thank you and God Bless You All.”
