CJ’s Sweet Palace in Glenside offers new fall lineup, hosting ‘Spooky Snack Workshop’ on Oct 26

CJ’s Sweet Palace, Glenside’s newest dessert shop, is offering coffee, pastries, and milkshakes for the fall season.

Owner Carlief Brown said he expects to have water ice all the way through December, with “some cool, creative things with ice cream.”

Among those creative endeavors is a Spooky Snack Workshop on October 26. Check out the details below:

Brown has been taking his desserts on the road as of late. CJ’s Sweet Palace has made appearances at the Keswick Fall Festival, the Cheltenham Art Center, Cheltenham and Abington High School football games, Hunter Soccer games, and more.

The shop has also been able to give local students their first job.

“We have staff from Cheltenham High School, my daughter’s alma mater, one of whom is Max Baldwin, a lifelong resident of Glenside,” Brown said. “He’s a very talented artists and wanted to add some life to the shop. He started with this 3D logo. Max and I have been tight ever since he and his lovely girlfriend stopped by the shop. They sit and talk with me often. Beautiful kindred spirits.”
