The forthcoming Chik Fil A at 3001 Cheltenham Avenue in Cedarbrook Plaza has gone through the land development process.
According to Henry Sekawungu, Cheltenham Township’s Director of Planning and Zoning, the franchise’s developers are in the final phase as they await approval from the Board of Commissioners.
Should everything go well, the former Golden Corral restaurant will be demolished and replaced with this use.
“They have to go through their review process before any demolition can begin. Once they meet all their conditions, they can submit a plan to the Montgomery County Recorder of Deeds. We’ll proceed from there,” he said.
