Cheltenham’s Ashbourne Meadows: a cost-effective, oasis-like option for local buyers

Situated on the site of the former Ashbourne Country Club, the 70-acre Ashbourne Meadows community has become a desirable option for buyers in and around the Cheltenham area.

A product of Ryan Homes, construction of the first sites began in the fall of 2021. The development offers two options for its customers: single family properties as well as townhomes.

The townhomes are expected to sell out within the next two months. The single family homes are expected to be on the market for another 12-16 months.

When construction is all said and done, the Ashbourne community expects to host 90 single family homes and 55 townhomes.

Ryan Homes is unique in that they don’t build houses until someone purchases. The customer is involved through each stage of the process from site selection to the color of the house.

For many prospective buyers, the proximity to Philadelphia combined with gains in efficiency and cost-effectiveness have made Ashbourne a first choice. Customers have found that economically, building new is a cheaper, better option.

The community’s single homes are situated on the eastern side of Ashbourne Road, and the townhomes are situated on the western of Ashbourne Road, with Oak Lane as the divider between the two.

Four distinct home designs offer up to 6 bedrooms and 5 baths, a finished basement, a backyard, a 2-car garage, and a driveway. A walking trail within the community’s acreage connects to Tookany Creek Park.
