Cheltenham Township revealed today its new logo and tagline “Rich history. Vibrant future” for 2026 and beyond.
According to their notice, the logo will be phased in digitally this month. Its elements were characterized as follows:
- Water – Organic, curved lines are used as an abstract representation of water to symbolize the creeks and streams that run through the Township. The flow of water also symbolizes the flow of forward progress.
- Spark – At the center of the logomark “C”, the negative space creates a spark, symbolizing progress, inspiration, and growth.
- Community – Interwoven lines symbolize a strong sense of community and connection held throughout the Township.
- Complimentary wordmark – A bracketed, flared serif font echoes the spirit of the logomark while also remaining contemporary and fresh.
The new tagline is said to “capture the unique feel of Cheltenham – a community where past meets present, merging tradition with the creativity and progress that have been staples of Cheltenham’s identity for decades,” according to a statement by the township.

From the announcement:
Two primary goals of this branding initiative were to unite all Township departments under one visual identity, and to create a recognizable image that markets Cheltenham to prospective visitors, residents, and business owners. The Township retains the rights and use of our Township seal – another image which is part of our rich history through its ties to our twin city of Cheltenham, England. The new logo will be phased in digitally this month, and in external applications as budget allows for uses such as signage and replacement of vehicles.
The “logo suite” was approved by the Board of Commissioners in October 2025. You can watch the presentation below:
