Cheltenham Township police offering free locks for Hyundai/Kia owners

Cheltenham Township Police Department has been selected as the first department in the region to partner with Hyundai and Kia to offer residents steering wheel locks free of charge.

The locks are intended as a visual and physical deterrent to any would-be thief.

Kia locks are expected by mid-February. Cheltenham police received a supply of locks from Hyundai late last week, though they are already out of stock. Hyundai locks have been reordered and CTPD will provide an update when they arrive.

Interested Hyundai owners are asked to check CTPD’s press release below which details how and where to receive the locks.
