Cheltenham schools looking to fill multiple positions, Cedarbrook students earn top accolades at PA science competition

Cheltenham School District announced multiple job openings, including a English as a Second Language teacher, an Academic Assistant, a Staff Nurse, a Building Aide, a Facilities Technician: HVAC Specialist, along with athletic coaching positions.

In related news, several Cedarbrook Middle School students came away winners at the recent Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science (PJAS) competitions at Souderton Area High School.

Seventh grader Matias Fagnani earned a perfect score on his behavioral/social science experiment “Music to my Ears!: Music Type and Concentration.”

Simon Chen, Sylvian Garbutt, Leo Gest, Joseph Bieryla, Frida Brodsky, Nia Mayrant, Tina Ramberg-Michael, Benjamin Sampson and Neve Schwarz also earned first place recognitions in their respective categories, the district said.

Students with perfect scores and first place finishes are eligible to attend PJAS States in May held at Penn State.

Cedarbrook students also accounted for six second place finishes and one third place finish.
