Cheltenham School District announced early dismissals on Tuesday, September 5 through Thursday, September 7 due to a hot and humid weather forecast and the “lack of air conditioning in many rooms.”

From their Facebook post:

Due to the weather forecast and lack of air conditioning in many rooms, Cheltenham High School will dismiss at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5 through Thursday, Sept. 7.

Between 11:45 a.m. and noon, students will have the opportunity to pick up a “to go” lunch in the cafeteria, and school buses will depart at 12:05 p.m. All afterschool activities may continue as scheduled. We have bottle-filling stations throughout the building, so students and staff are encouraged to bring water bottles to school this week. In addition, free bottled water will be available between classes.
