Police are warning people to be on alert when going to the bank after a string of armed robberies in Cheltenham Township in the last month.
According to FOX29, Cheltenham police suspect the same three masked robbers robbed customers in the parking lot of local banks three times in a two-week period last month. Investigators believe the group has committed similar robberies in Philadelphia and is using a variety of stolen vehicles.

According to 6ABC, the victims were depositing or withdrawing large amounts of cash in each incident. The suspects are described as “being in their late teens to early 20s, and are all about five foot six inches to six feet tall, with thin builds. They were dressed in all black and wearing face coverings.”
“This is obviously the same group of people because the M.O. is the same,” Lt. Andy Snyder said. “They’re staking out the bank, waiting for a target to arrive, and then they’re robbing a specific customer.”
