The Cheltenham Township Police Department recently received a Blackhawk Breaching Kit, courtesy of a donation from the U.S. Deputy Sheriff’s Association.

According to the Department, the kit provides officers with vital equipment to make forced entries in the event of an emergency and will potentially save lives.

The Department said it will be putting a number of its patrol officers through a breaching training in the very near future.
