Kendall Nelson, a junior outfielder for the Cheltenham High School softball team, has been named to the Suburban One League Freedom Division First Team for the third consecutive year.

Also a sprinter at CHS, Nelson was named to the SOL Freedom Division All League First Team in both softball and track and field during the spring 2023 season.

Nelson is a Distinguished Honor Roll student with an SAT score of 1320. She plans to major in Environmental Science/Biomedical Sciences in college.

Her father is Rep. Napoleon Nelson (District 154: Cheltenham, Jenkintown, and Springfield), her mother is Shareese Nelson, vice principal at the Elkins Park School.
