Cheltenham High School seeking donations for unified sports program, 2025 Hall of Fame nominations now open

Cheltenham High School is seeking donations in support of their unified sports programs and the Polar Bear Plunge for Unified Sports, scheduled for Friday, January 31 at Citizens Bank Park.

Unified Sports pairs students with developmental disabilities with students without disabilities to achieve success on the playing field and beyond. Schools like Jenkintown and Cheltenham which have implemented unified physical education concepts have indicated their student bodies have become more accepting of all students, and more apt to celebrate individual differences.

All proceeds from the Plunge go directly to the high school’s unified sports, which include cheerleading, bocce, and track and field. To Plunge, you need to raise at least $35 on your registered page. Registration information can be found here.

In related news, the Alumni Association of Cheltenham High School announced that the official opening of nominations for its 2025 Hall of Fame Induction has begun.

Criteria, instructions and contact information is listed on the nomination form.

Deadline for submissions is May 1, 2025. The anticipated Hall of Fame induction will be in fall 2025. Any questions can be directed to HOF@CHSAlums.org.
