Rebecca Neckritz, a lifelong lover of restaurants and a 2017 graduate of Cheltenham High School, partnered with her college roommate to found the TikTok and Instagram accounts @PhillyFoodLadies, which launched their freshmen year. The fast-friends-over-food duo highlight Philly’s best happy-hour deals, rooftop views, and bars, follow local restaurants and other food influencers, and reach out to Philly businesses for collaborations.

Neckritz and Mitchell used the pandemic’s social lull to expand their social media following. Their accounts have grown by more than 15,000 followers in 2022 alone, and are quickly catching the attention of the Philadelphia food scene. 

“Our goal is to uplift small businesses,” Neckritz says. “We want to help out restaurants.”

Fun fact: Rebecca is also a talented singer who has performed with “The Ritz Trio” at local festivals. The Trio, pictured above, is made up of George Abramson, Sheryl Neckritz, and Rebecca.
