1. Glenside Free Library

The Glenside Free Library offers much more than books. On top of the wide selection of reading materials, Cheltenham residents have access to DVDs, computers, audiobooks, CDs, language learning programs, and more.
Established in 1928, the library has long provided education, knowledge, and entertainment for all ages. The library also regularly hosts events for children and adults.

2. Briar Bush Nature Center

Located at 1212 Edge Hill Road in Abington Township, Briar Bush Nature Center is home to a variety of amenities that allow visitors to enjoy our region’s natural beauty. The Dede Long Nature Museum is home to a variety of animals and insects, as well as other interactive exhibits.
Follow the winding trails to find the Nature Playscape, a unique play area, as well as the pond, which is home to a collection of aquatic life. The Nature Center hosts multiple summer camp programs, so be sure to check out their website for more information on hours and availability.
3. The CO Lab

Located at 2256 Mount Caramel Avenue, The CO Lab offers an engaging space to foster creativity and community. Enjoy shows from local artists, and monthly live music performances. The CO Lab also offers unique opportunities for kids, including Lego and Art Exploration classes, as well as a summer camp.

4. George Perley Bird Sanctuary
A gift to the township from SPS Technologies in 1956, the Bird Sanctuary of Wyncote is perfect for a moment of peace and reflection in nature. The area has been well maintained and features some of the beautiful wildlife native to the area.
Located on Rices Mill near the intersection of Glenside Avenue, the trail is ideal for getting outside and taking a break.
5. Glenside Pool

Reconstructed in 1967, the Glenside Pool (Cheltenham Township) offers an affordable and convenient space for aquatic recreation. Featuring a baby pool, water slides, and diving boards, the Glenside Pool is ideal for cooling off and spending time in the community.
Seasonal Pass registration is still available, as are daily passes. The pool closes for the season on Labor Day.
6. Thomas Williams Park
Once home to a junior high school for the Cheltenham School District, Thomas Williams Park, located on Hewett and North Bent in Wyncote, is now one of the most underrated recreational facilities in the area.
With a full outdoor basketball court, four tennis courts, a large soccer field, and a covered pavilion, the park provides an opportunity for exercise and time outdoors.
7. Hill Top Miniature Golf

Open seven days a week, Hill Top Miniature Golf is ideal for a fun night out with friends or family. Located at 880 N Easton Road, Hill Top includes eighteen holes, waterfalls, elevation changes, and other fun hazards. It is also reasonably priced: ten dollars for adults, and eight dollars for children.
