Cheltenham grad, Fox News personality Mark Levin tapped to join President Trump’s new Homeland Security Advisory Council

Mark Levin, an Elkins Park native and 1974 graduate of Cheltenham High School, is joining the Trump administration as a member of his new Homeland Security Advisory Council, the president announced in a post on Truth Social on Thursday.

Levin, a longtime syndicated talk show host and Fox News personality, is one of over 20 former Fox personalities who currently work for Trump, according to an analysis by The Philadelphia Inquirer.

“I am proud to announce the formation of my revamped Homeland Security Advisory Council (HSAC), which is comprised of Top Experts in their field, who are highly respected by their peers. It is a big honor to serve on HSAC, and I know the new Members, South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster, Mark Levin, Bo Dietl, and Joseph Gruters, will do an incredible job,” Trump said in the post.

“What an honor! Thank you, Mr. President!” Levin wrote back on X.

Trump said the council will focus on the southern border and work to deport immigrants who have entered the country illegally.

“Under Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem’s leadership, HSAC will work hard on developing new Policies and Strategies that will help us secure our Border, deport Illegal Criminal Thugs, stop the flow of Fentanyl and other illegal drugs that are killing our Citizens, and MAKE AMERICA SAFE AGAIN. Congratulations to all!” Trump said in a post.

Last week, Levin’s show “Life, Liberty & Levin” published a video titled “Democrats hate Trump because he’s a ‘liberator’”. Watch it below:

In September 2023, Levin published a book titled “The Democrat Party Hates America“.
