In related news, CFC officials shared that the Mack Pumper (pictured above) was purchased new and served the Cheltenham Fire Company from 1938 to 1948 before being sold to The Deer Park Fire Company in Cherry Hill, NJ.

According to the company, the pumper was recently purchased with privately raised funds and donations from the Members & Friends of the Fire Company. Its first public outing was on Sunday, April 7.

The truck still has the “C.H. & L. CO.” markings under the ladder, CFC officials said.
