Will Edgar and Nathan Hoffman, members of Cheltenham High School’s boys’ track & field team, recently competed in the Marine Corps Invitational at the NYC Armory.
Edgar, a junior, finished second in the boys’ invitational mile run, running a state-qualifying time of 4:24.41. His time set a school record which John D’Anjou (1996) had held for 28 years.
Hoffman, a senior, finished third in the boys’ high jump with a state-qualifying mark of 6-2, which also made him eligible for the Track and Field Coaches Association of Greater Philadelphia Meet of Champions.
