Cedarbrook Middle School students helping out at Sunday’s Broad Street Run, feat. by CBS News

Eighth grade students of Cedarbrook Middle School (Cheltenham School District) were visited by a CBS News crew to highlight their participation in Sunday’s Broad Street Run.

The students will pass out water during the race on behalf of the SEANstrong Foundation, also known as the Sean F. Hogan Sr. Foundation, a non-profit that helps to alleviate some of the financial burden families with children experience after a cancer diagnosis.

The Independence Blue Cross Broad Street Run, now in its 44th year, remembers and honors loved ones who have died of cancer. It is the largest 10-mile road race in the United States and kicks off at 7:30am.
