This post comes from the Arcadia University news feed. As part of their dedication to community service, the University asks you to donate, rather than toss, your unwanted home goods.
Through May 17, the Community and Civic Engagement Center (CCEC) is sponsoring its annual end-of-year collection. All items will be donated to local non-profit organizations.
Items to donate:
- Clothing
- Furniture
- Kitchenware (pots and pans, etc.)
- Appliances (microwaves, etc.)
- Toiletries (shampoo, soap, etc.)
- Canned goods and non-frozen, packaged foods (items with a long shelf life)
- School supplies (books, notebooks, etc.)
Designated collection areas:
- Oak Summit: across from the first-floor elevator in A and C; second-floor parking garage entrance in A; lobby in B.
- Knight: first-floor vending machine area.
- Heinz, Kistler, Dilworth/Thomas: lobby.
- Castle: kitchen area.
