Calluna Plants and Gifts, a new plant nursery and gift shop in Oreland, will host a Plant Swap on Tuesday, June 27 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm.

From their announcement:

Bring plants or plant cuttings to swap and meet with other plant enthusiasts! This is a one-for-one exchange so if you bring three items, you’ll go home with three new items! All levels are welcomed from plant newbies to experienced green thumb types. Remember that everyone is in a different place in their plant journey so be prepared to chat, trade, and learn! This is strictly a trade, no sales.

Calluna Plants and Gifts will be open one hour before start time for anyone who would like to shop the store. We will also remain open for 30 minutes after the swap ends for any last minute shopping needs. The swap goes from 6-7:30pm. 7:30-8pm – shop Calluna.

Below are the guidelines:

We ask that you bring healthy, pest-free plants to swap.

Plants must be labeled. We will have extra cards on hand for labeling but please come prepared.

Share stories! We welcome you to share a special story about the plant you are swapping if the mood strikes.

If you have extra boxes or flats for transporting plants, please bring them as we will have a limited number on hand.

Be kind. There will be plenty of one for one swapping. We won’t monitor the one for one so if you want to unload more to a person, especially at the end of the swap, that is also encouraged!

This is a FREE event but you MUST register to attend. SPACE IS LIMITED.
