Bros of Decay tour Lynnewood Hall in Elkins Park. New organization seeks to acquire and preserve the property

The Bros of Decay recently posted a tour of the vacant 110-room Lynnewood Hall, a Neoclassical Revival mansion in Elkins Park. The mansion was designed by architect Horace Trumbauer for industrialist Peter A. B. Widener and constructed between 1897 and 1900.

The Bros of Decay are two brothers who film abandoned buildings and share the tours on YouTube.com.

On July 5th, The Lynnewood Hall Preservation Foundation Inc. announced its intention to acquire the property and preserve it. It is currently in the fundraising process. You can learn more here.
