Bradley Cooper interviewed by Howard Stern about ‘Maestro’ and hopes for Eagles Super Bowl

On Monday, November 27, radio legend Howard Stern interviewed Jenkintown/Abington native Bradley Cooper about his recently released film “Maestro” and the Philadelphia Eagles, who are now 10-1 on the season.

According to Philadelphia Magazine, Cooper, who previously received nine Oscar nominations but never won, is in the running for Best Director and Best Actor for the new film.

“Here’s the big question, and I really want you to answer in a serious manner,” Stern told Cooper. “Sophie’s Choice for 2024. You win the Oscar, not only for Best Director but also for Best Actor and Carrie wins Best Actress. Or, an Eagles Super Bowl victory.”

Cooper chose the Eagles before Stern finished the question.

“You’re lying,” Stern replied.

“I don’t think so, bro,” Cooper said.

Cooper also told Stern that he has about four more big projects left in his career, based on his age and the amount of time it takes him to write, direct, and complete a film.

“I have to choose wisely and choose only what moves me,” Cooper said during the interview. “I’d rather spend six years on something I’ve done everything for.”
