PennDOT announced today that SEPTA will be performing rail improvements on Bradfield Road in Abington Township beginning Friday, June 9.

Bradfield Road will be closed from 9:00am Friday to 6:00pm Monday, June 12 between Edge Hill and Susquehanna roads. During the closure, northbound motorists will be directed to use Edge Hill Road, Easton Road, and Susquehanna Road.

Southbound motorists will be directed to Susquehanna Road, Easton Road, and Edge Hill Road.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.
