Blue Bell Trolley coming to Montgomery, Bucks and Delaware counties this fall

Starting this fall, local residents in the Philly suburbs will have a stylish new option to get from point A to point B.

Blue Bell Trolley, a “charming suburban mode of transportation for your weddings and special events,” is currently accepting reservations for September onward in Montgomery, Bucks, and Delaware counties.

The transportation company will specialize in shuttling special gatherings—wedding parties, proms, corporate outings, athletic teams, birthdays, mitzvahs, anniversaries—to and from an event.

“They’re photogenic, old-school trolleys. We named the white trolley ‘Pearl’ and the green trolley ‘Frank,’ Alexa, owner and founder of the new company, said. “It gives them some fun character.”

Alexa, who lives in Blue Bell, says the idea came to her while she was preparing for her own wedding this spring.

“I was looking for a trolley to transport our bridal party, and noticed that they’re all in the city. My fiancé and I realized that this could be a nice thing to bring out into these areas. The more we looked into it, the more things started falling into place,” she said. “It’s something you don’t see everyday in the suburbs. To think of a trolley rolling down the main streets of Ambler is a cool thing.”

Alexa’s family has called Ambler home for generations, and she hopes to add a fun, novel layer to the surrounding community.

“We’re really excited to bring this new concept to the community,” she said. “We think people will have fun riding in the trolleys to their weddings and special events.”
