Blooming Peace is proud to announce its official opening of its new beginning in our downtown corridor with three public events designed to foster creating, connection, and community. Grounded in the philosophy of “Cultivating a World of Well-Being with (He)ART,” the new studio location offers a gentle, welcoming, come-as-you-are space designed to bring people together to play with color, awaken their sense, and shift or transform inner energy in restorative ways.
The studio specializes in supporting adults navigating life transitions by providing a comforting environment to process feeling using art mediums or simply rediscover the pure joy of creating in good company. No prior artistic experience is required to participate.
During each launch event, attendees will receive complimentary materials to create a tiny painting or drawing around the topic of PEACE. Participants can choose to take their completed masterpiece with them to keep or gift or leave it behind to become part of a community collective art installation. Either way, they will be spreading the message of the harmony between peace and love out in the wider world.
“To celebrate our official launch in our new location, we are hosting three special interactive events. In alignment with the 2026 National Peace Day, we are offering a creative experience around the theme: “Invest in Peace—For Everyone, Everywhere, Every Day,” said Daune Marie, Founder of Blooming Peace. “This allows us to immediately put our mission into practice by engaging neighbors near and far to actively invest in everyday peace through creativity and become a part of the greater Glenside community.”

While Blooming Peace operates strictly by appointment only for its standard schedule, doors will be open wide to all community walk-ins for these three specific launch dates. No prior art experience is necessary, and all creative supplies are provided free of charge. RSVPs are highly appreciated to help the studio team prepare materials.
