Bill Hall, longtime Glenside resident and parade coordinator, interviewed by Circus World

Bill Hall, longtime coordinator of Glenside’s 4th of July Parade, was recently interviewed by Circus World’s Scott O’Donnell regarding his life’s work as a talent agent and his memories of George A. Hamid, Sr., an entrepreneur who made major contributions to America’s outdoor amusement and entertainment industry.

An interview of Bill Hall conducted by Scott O’Donnell on May 4, 2023. Hall is a longtime talent agent who has worked with a large number of circus performers since the late 1960s. Hall has also produced circus shows, worked at the Circus Hall of Fame in Sarasota, Florida and authored a regular column “Tanbark Topics” in White Tops the magazine of the Circus Fans of Association of America. Included in the interview is Hall’s recollections of George A. Hamid Sr.
