Beth Sholom Congregation in Elkins Park will host Aleeza Ben-Shalom, an American–Israeli matchmaker, relationship coach, author, and reality television personality, on Sunday, May 19 at 7:00pm.

Ben-Shalom’s hit series “Jewish Matchmaking” can be found on Netflix. She also has her own matchmaking business in the U.S. and Israel, through which she specializes in helping Jewish people pair up. Her most expensive coaching sessions run as much as $1,000, and she hosts webinars in which she trains others to be matchmakers.

“There are 15 million Jews in the world and 15 million ways to be Jewish,” she says in the first episode of the show. “This type of matchmaking is rooted in Jewish wisdom, but it’s for the whole entire world,” she says. “It’s for everybody. If you want to have a great relationship, you definitely want to have clarity.”
