Austrian Village Restaurant, located at 321 Huntingdon Pike in Rockledge (Abington Township), announced today its closure after 53 years in business.

The family-owned establishment was known for its traditional cuisine and beer selection.

“We would like thank you all for your continued support throughout the years and for allowing us to serve you. It has been an honor for us to be a part of your lives and life celebrations,” a flyer posted by the restaurant said.

“We would also like to thank all our staff members, past and present, who helped make the Austrian Village a place where you could get a great meal, great service, a smile and a laugh… a place where everyone knew your name,” the flyer said.
