Asplundh Tree Expert of Willow Grove (Upper Moreland Township) is among the top 100 highest-grossing private companies in America, according to Forbes‘ list for 2025.

The Glenside-born company placed at #97, climbing 18 spots from #115 in the nation in 2024. Asplundh employs 33,795 people and increased revenue to $6.3 billion from $5.7 billion the year prior.

Asplundh clears vegetation and trims trees for electric utilities, telecommunications companies, municipalities, pipelines and railroads in the U.S., Canada, Australia and New Zealand. The company also offers power line design, construction, engineering and inspection, meter reading, GPS mapping, utility pole maintenance, roadway lighting and traffic signal construction and maintenance.

In September, the company announced the sale of its headquarters at 708 Blair Mill Road in Willow Grove after signing a long-term lease for a nearby office at 680 Blair Mill Road.
