Asaka Asian Cuisine, located at 721 Chelten Avenue in Jenkintown, officially opened for business on February 6.

Ownership told Glenside Local that they will be temporarily closing as of March 30, with plans to reopen on or around May 20.

“I need to update the interior and the menu,” owner Cody, a resident of Philadelphia (who preferred to withhold his last name) said.

Cody said he decided to open the restaurant after hearing that Teng Da Asian Fusion, which previously occupied the location, was closing.

Mon – Thur: 11 AM – 9 PM
Fri – Sat: 11 AM – 10 PM
Sun: 12 PM – 9 PM
