The Abington Police Department announced that an armed robbery took place today at the CVS at 2622 Jenkintown Road in Glenside.

According to officials, one of the robberies’ suspects is still unaccounted for and was last seen leaving on foot Southbound on Edge Hill Road.

The suspect has been described as a white male, approximately 6′ tall, wearing blue jeans with a white quarter zip pullover with a black pocket, a black winter hat with ear flaps, and a black tote bag with stars on it, possibly wearing a surgical mask and sunglasses.

Police are advising residents to avoid the area and report any possible sightings by calling 9-1-1.

Update as of 6:05pm: “The investigation at CVS has concluded. Abington Detectives are continuing their investigation. We have reason to believe the suspect fled in a vehicle and is no longer in the area. Anyone with information should call 9-1-1,” the department said.
