Arcadia to host concert for Holocaust Remembrance Day

Arcadia University will be hosting a Holocaust Memorial Concert on Tuesday, April 18 at 7:00pm in the University’s Grey Towers Castle.

The free concert will feature Arcadia faculty and students, as well as outside musicians, for Yom HaShoah, the worldwide Holocaust Remembrance Day.

The concert will include:

  • Hoejin Sim (soprano), Lenuta Ciulei (violin), George Atanasiu (Cello), Samuel Heifetz (piano)
  • University Chamber Choir Directed by William J. Naydan
  • Music by Maurice Ravel (1875 – 1937), Erwin Schulhoff (1894 1944), Hans Krasa (1899-1944), Hanna Szenes (1922-1944), Ilja Heifecs (1912-1991) and others
