Arcadia University will host the 17th annual Hoops for Hope high school girls’ basketball showcase on January 14 beginning at 10:00am in the Kuch Alumni Gymnasium.
The non-profit showcase will feature some of the best high school basketball teams in the area squaring off against one another while raising money for Morgan’s Message, a student-athlete mental health awareness organization.
Jackie Hartzell, women’s basketball coach at Arcadia, played a major role in getting the showcase to campus.
The schedule will consist of six games as follows:
- 10 a.m. – Mount St. Joseph Academy vs. West Chester Rustin High School
- 11:30 a.m. – Haverford High School vs. North Penn High School
- 1 p.m. – William Penn Charter School vs. Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School
- 2:30 p.m. – Archbishop Carroll High School vs. Germantown Academy
- 4 p.m. – Archbishop Wood High School vs. Perkiomen Valley High School
- 5:30 p.m. – Academy of Notre Dame de Namur vs. Conestoga High School
- 7 p.m. – Souderton High School vs. Villa Maria Academy High School
