Aimee Petkus Jewelry, located at 105-b Glenside Avenue in Cheltenham Township, is hosting a soft opening on Saturday, April 25—coinciding with the one-year anniversary celebration of its adjacent counterparts: TREXI Design and Lisa Kelley Studio.
Store owner Aimee Petkus said she’s been an independent jewelry artist for over 12 years.
“I make everything by hand. I have a background in geology, so all of my work is centered around stones and unique gemstones,” she told Glenside Local. “I want to give Glenside a wide selection of rings which you can’t find in a fine jewelry store.”

A resident of Mt. Airy, Petkus said she found the space after Ashley Myers, owner of TREXI Design, posted on Facebook that she was looking for someone to share the space.
“I went over there, met with her, and we clicked. It seemed like a good fit,” Petkus said.

The soft opening will include a temporary show of her work. A grand opening is expected sometime mid-May.
