The Adath Jeshurun Early Learning Center in Elkins Park (Cheltenham Township) will close at the end of this school year, school officials told Glenside Local.

Officials said the closure is “due to changing demographics in the area” and the school’s last day of service will be June 5, 2026. 

Adath Jeshurun said they have been working with both parents and teachers to facilitate a smooth transition to other preschools for the fall.

“We are proud of what our preschool has accomplished over the past 50 years,” president Harry Lessig said. “While we are disappointed that we can’t continue, we are confident that the children will thrive on the strong foundation our teachers have provided.”
