PENNSYLVANIA!!! What an amazing day!! I travelled down to Montgomery County where I reunited with Congresswoman Madeleine Dean of #PA4. We did an InstaLive and then went out into the rain and spoke to campaign volunteers and local lookie lous. It was so gratifying. Even with social distancing it still felt good to connect with people who are energized and excited about a future with President @joebiden and Vice President @kamalaharris. Even the rain couldn’t dampen our spirits. Then we were off to Chester County where I met Chrissy Houlihan, the Congresswoman from #PA6. We gathered with some lovely folks in a beautiful park. The grass was wet, the leaves already turning golden and copper hues. Masked parents showing their support for Biden, Harris and local hero Chrissy Houlihan had their little kiddos with them and it felt so beautifully neighborly. I even met the local mayor! It was wonderful. Going to #PA before an election has become a tradition for me. I was there 4 years ago and toured in the bus with Governor Rendell. We were on ANOTHER bus together in 2008, the night before President Obama and Vice President Biden were elected. Joe Biden gave his last big speech late in the night in front of a huge crowd. And then, in the tent afterwards, I met Joe for the first time. I was a fan then. My belief in him as a leader, and my admiration for his heart have only grown over the years. It really is a privilege to be a part of such an awesome civic effort. It always fills me with such Hope and gratitude for our humanity. Pennsylvania, thank you for always being so welcoming. And remember, the last day to #register is: *This Monday Oct 19.* ??EARLY VOTING HAS BEGUN!? ??Vote By Mail ballots can be dropped off at your local election office, dropped into an official DROPBOX, or if you want to put in the mail, just do it as soon as possible. And finally— don’t forget! A vote by mail ballot MUST be put into the smaller secrecy envelope first, THEN into the larger mailing envelope. And be sure to sign and date the back of the envelope. If you don’t, your vote won’t count. You have so many options! Just pick what feels best for you! #Biden
