DJS Associates, a forensic engineering and consulting firm in Abington, has provided state-of-the-art reality technology to the North Penn Fire Company. The app allows users to access a fire prevention curriculum using a tablet or smartphone.

“This new technology allows us to place one of our firefighters right in your living room, basement, front porch, or anywhere you want,” Matthew Daywalt, Fire Prevention Officer at the North Penn Volunteer Fire Company, said. “Now, kids and families can become even more familiar with firefighters, even from the safety and comfort of their own home.”

DJS Associates’ fire experts include engineers, investigators, consultants, fire marshals, and insurance investigators. The team conducts investigations and analyses on fire origins, alarm systems, building codes, property loss, and prevention.
