The Abington, Cheltenham, and Upper Moreland school districts have issued two-hour delays on Monday, December 15 due to weather conditions.

From Abington’s announcement:

Students are to report to their bus stops or schools two hours later than their usually scheduled time. Before-school care provided by the YMCA will not operate.

From Cheltenham’s announcement:

Due to the drastic drop in temperature overnight and potential for significant refreeze, which could lead to hazardous driving conditions, Cheltenham School District will operate on a two-hour delay tomorrow, Monday, December 15, 2025. Right at School will be closed, and EASTERN students will not have morning classes.

From Upper Moreland’s announcement:

Upper Moreland High School: opens for students at 9:30 AM
Upper Moreland Middle School: opens for students at 9:35 AM
Upper Moreland Primary and Intermediate: opens for students at 10:20 AM

YMCA Before-School Care: The YMCA staff will communicate specific details about before-school care.

We anticipate tonight’s freezing temperatures may make morning travel challenging. Our top priority is safety, especially for buses and high school student drivers. Please take extra care as you travel.
