Abington, Cheltenham, Jenkintown, and Upper Moreland schools will open two hours late on Wednesday, January 17.

The National Weather Service recently posted, “Untreated water and slush will almost certainly become rock-hard by morning as temps drop well into the teens across most of the area tonight. In addition, winds will make it feel 10-15 degrees colder! Bundle up!”

Each district was closed on Tuesday, January 16 due to weather. More details can be found below:

Upper Moreland

Upper Moreland High School
• Doors will open for students at 9:30am and follow the mid-term schedule.
• High School will dismiss at 1:00pm.

Upper Moreland Middle School
• Doors will open for students at 9:35am.

Upper Moreland Primary and Intermediate Schools
• Doors will open for students at 10:20am.
• The YMCA will not provide before school care.

All non-public transportation services will operate on a two-hour delay.

Jenkintown

There will be no morning childcare.
