The Abington Township Police Department announced a new initiative aimed at families of individuals unable to communicate with law enforcement due to a physical and or/cognitive condition.

The “Take Me Home” program will create a secure database for information specific to each person registered including physical description, photographs, medical conditions, home address, and a list of persons to contact in the event of an emergency.
