The Abington Township Police Department is encouraging people to consider a career as a police officer with the Township. According to the video, the Township is looking to hire at least one police officer, but perhaps up to ten new police officers. The video indicates that the starting base salary is approximately $74,000.00. Within five years, base salary should be about $104,000.00, according to the video.
